Sales of the Bible are up, apparently, at least according to an article in Premier Christian News.

They report that bible sales in the US have increased by 22% in one year according to data analysis company Circana Bookscan, exceeding 13.7million in the ten months to October 2024. This is significant at a time when sales of all printed books only rose by about 1%.

Analysts believe that increased numbers of people are turning to the Bible as the world grows increasingly uncertain because of conflict, economic issues and the increased use of AI. At the same time, according to the article, some social media influencers appear to be very publicly finding faith and taking their followers with them!

The article reminds us that the Bible is the most popular book in the world with sales of some 5 billion copies worldwide every year.
