In honour of International Women’s Day, March 8th, writer Diego Antonio Nieto Marcó is presenting a talk at St George’s Church, entitled ‘Women Who Dared Go Further’.
The talk, which will take place on Saturday, 5th April at 7pm, will identify particular women who, in the 19th and 20th centuries, achieved great feats in worlds dominated by men – not just literature, but also science, travel and adventure.
It will be in English, entry is free and the bar will be open. In addition, there will be a bookstand outside and Diego´s wife will bring some of her paintings.
