According to an article in Sur in English, the property market closed 2025 with a rise of 15.4% in Malaga, making it the most expensive province in Andalucía for buying a property. A square metre now stands at 4,047 euros, compared with the Andalusian average of 2,755, according to real estate platform Idealista.
All Andalusian provinces have seen a rise. The highest was in Almeria (15.6%) followed by Malaga (15.4%), Granada (14.6%), Seville (13.9%) and Cadiz (13.9%), with much smaller increases in Jaén (2.3%), Cordoba (5.7%) and Huelva (7.3%).
