It’s that time of year again, when the church ordains new deacons and priests at Petertide, the feast day marking the martyrdom of Saint Peter, on 29th June.
Within our Diocese in Europe we are ordaining 6 deacons in the Pro-Cathedral in Brussels on Sunday 30th June:
Daleen Bakker (Lisbon)
Dan Culbertson (Budapest)
Alison Heal (Luxembourg)
James Morgan (Bern)
Massimo Radice (Barcelona)
Betty Talbot (La Côte, Switzerland).
In addition, in early July, Florence Lorrain will be ordained deacon in Poitou-Charentes, north of Bordeaux, and on 6th & 7th July, 3 deacons will be ordained as priests (details to follow).
Please pray for those to be ordained, here and elsewhere, for their families and the parishes in which they will serve.
