Moving church? This is one way to do it. A 113-year-old Swedish church, located in the town of Kiruna to the north of the Arctic Circle, needed to change location because of the risk of ground subsidence. In fact, it moved only 5km across town to a new location.
The huge timber structure was hoisted onto giant trailers for the move. Travelling at a maximum speed of 500m an hour, the journey is expected to take two days.
