It is so lovely to welcome newcomers to our church. Here at St George’s we offer a spiritual home to students, holiday makers, business people, families, digital nomads and many long-standing members of the Malaga community. And that means we are a very diverse community, and we seek to be a very inclusive one.

 We are a church with a history, having been the first ever Anglican church to be established in mainland Spain. And we are located in Málaga’s English Cemetery – for which our church building was originally the cemetery chapel – which was the first non-Catholic cemetery in mainland Spain.

 But we are also a church with a future. Over the past year we have launched a new website, communications strategy and mission plan, and are now in a position to develop a 5-year vision for the spiritual home that we want this church to be by the end of the decade.
