Please join us in wishing Peter Read a very happy 94th birthday!
Peter is a faithful member of the Velez-Malaga congregation and has served the Chaplaincy in a variety of roles over many years – most recently as Congregational Warden at Velez-Malaga and organiser of the Chaplaincy’s monthly Zoom service.
With the arrival of his 94th birthday, Peter has decided that the time is probably right for him to step down from these two roles and pass the baton to a younger generation. With this in mind, there with be a small celebration following the Eucharist in Velez this coming Sunday.
We give thanks for Peter’s friendship, faith, his many gifts and his unceasing good humour, and pray that God will continue to bless him.
