Following the shock financial loss in 2023, we are delighted to announce that we have returned to a balanced budget.

In 2023, we ended the year with a loss of some €2,500. The bigger concern expressed by our auditor at the 2024 AGM, that this deficit “has reduced the Chaplaincy’s total cash assets ….. This has created day to day cash flow issues and is a position which is not sustainable even in the short term”. This was a dire warning.

In 2024 we took significant action. This was three fold:
1) We set up a music programme, with some exceptional performances, as well as generating additional income;
2) We relaunched our Planned Giving Scheme ‘Count Me In’;
3) We developed a more professional way of monitoring our financial affairs.

As a result, 2024 resulted in a small surplus, of some €1,613. This is a wonderful result and a significant turn-around.

Dear congregation members, supporters and visitors, thank you for your wonderful generosity! It is you who have made the difference and this is your success. Generosity is at the heart of our faith. We acknowledge God’s abundant blessing and provision, and are called to share that blessing with others.

Again, our profound thanks for your support and generosity, which is deeply appreciated. This is something to build on!
