This year’s Christmas advertising campaign is called ‘Follow the Star – Calm and Bright’. It encourages people to pause and find moments of calm amidst the busy-ness of December. And then to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas at their local church.
It is based on the notion of a ‘Silent Night’ in contrast the bustle of the season, as depicted in particular in Amy Grant’s Christmas Carol, ‘I need a silent night‘.
Some 3m people have seen the adverts so far.
