It is so good to see a consistent message coming out of the Vatican about the war in Iran. This time it was from Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Vatican’s Foreign Minister. Speaking to journalists, on the sidelines of a study day, held at the Vatican Apostolic Library on March 26, he said it was time to put an end to war: “Easter is the feast of peace, the peace of the risen Lord, and therefore,” he said, “it is a special occasion to … put an end to this foolishness that is war.”
